Womens Social Tag Rugby

Meath LSP and Leinster Rugbyare collaborating with local rugby clubs to bring you a WomensSocial Tag programme. Suitable for women of all ages (18+) and fitness levels – this programme is ideal for complete beginners and those with previous rugby experience. Non- competitive, Relaxed and Fun, this new 6-week programme is a great way to gain fitness and learn a new skill without the rough and tumble of regular rugby. The programme will start in January 2025 in two areas:

• North Meath Rugby Club – Kells  – Starting Tuesday 28th January – 4th March 2025 @ 7.30pm 
• Ashbourne Rugby Club – Ashbourne – Starting Monday 27th January – 10th March @ 6.30pm

Registration: Registration Opens from Thursday 18th December

Training & Education 

A RUGBY Training & Education Programme will commence from April for females wanting to upskill and become Coaches/Officials with the aim of increasing the number of female rugby coaches in Meath and building capacity in clubs.

• Coach Development Pathway and will include:
• Coach Training – PLAY RUGBY – Monday 7th April
• Safeguarding – Monday 14th April
• Coaching Teenage Girls – To Be Confirmed
• Fun & Friendly Tag Blitz with all participating clubs- Saturday 5th April

Registration for the Training & Education for Rugby Coaches/Official will open in January 2025
