Inagural East Meath Swim Fest

East Meath Swim Fest 

Meath LSP are delighted to announce the inaugural Swim Fest for the East Meath Area!

The Swim fest, as part of the Royal County Challenge is a non- competitive festival of swimming for recreational sea swimmers in Meath.

The is a festival of swimming catering for all level of swimmers and people interested in the water. Each participant will receive a silicone swim hat and a goody bag. You must be able to swim the distance of the event that you have registered for.

Event distances:

250m 1.00PM – cut off 20 minutes

500m 1.30PM – cut off 30 minutes

750m 2.10PM – cut off 35 minutes

Teen 250m: 12.30pm 

Swims will be linear routes along the beach with the finish line on the beach itself! The Swim Fest is sure to be a great day & will showcase the Swimmers of East Meath and their progressions over the last number of months.

Please note:

The Swim fest event takes place on decision of Safety Officer on the day

(safety of participants with tide, wind and weather conditions considered)
Know your limit, know your window – all participants will be advised of swimming time windows and any who exceed this will be removed from the water for their own safety.

Venue: Bettystown Beach
