Cycle Cross event for Women and teenage girls – this event is a led by Navan Road Club for Women 18+ and Girls 13-17yrs who will have the opportunity to try out off road cycling in a safe, inclusive environment. Ideal for beginners and also those with previous experience.

Orienteering Carlanstown – this event is led by Orienteering Ireland and is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with previous experience. The instructor will cover map reading, games and also virtual orienteering using MapRun and mobile devices. Groups Leaders are welcome to learn the skills of orienteering and share with their group members.

Activator Pole Walking for older women. This Come & Try programme focuses on promoting long term fitness and independence through increasing balance and functionality for women. The tutor will assist participants in use of the activator poles to increase strength and improve mobility for older people. Activator Pole Walking is a fantastic activity to increase mobility, strengthen the body and gain fitness.

Cycling Event for women on the Boyne Greenway. This half day event will include a 20k cycle for women on the Boyne Greenway supported by Bohermeen Cycle Club and Navan Road Club. Meeting at Greenway Service Hub (Doughty’s) in Wilkinstown, the Bike Ride Leader will carry out a quick bike safety check with all participants before leading them on a 10k bike ride to Nobber. Coffee and snack will then be available for everyone before returning to Wilkinstown.
